regrets
I am naturally a very happy person who just sees joys a midst random things. I won't be lying if i say i am the most easily amused person you will ever see. I tend to carry bags of laughter and burn bridges of bad memories. Most of the things i have done in life have done nothing but brought joys to me sooner or later. There might be millions of my clones walking around, trying to find the best in the worse, trying to scatter smiles in the tears but deep down all of us have certain regrets. Some have one, others have more but the beauty lies in not clinging to one wrong doing but moving on and making sure it won't happen again.
The biggest regret of my life is missing out on saying a very major good bye to a friend who caught a flight to the rainbows. I don't know if i was too late or he left too early but the damage was done and i was to never see him again. Its one of those pages that you flip every night before you go to bed. You fall in the world of what ifs and whys and sadly enough it never gets old. I learnt that i should never take good byes for granted anymore for that one good bye might be the last one you will mutually share. Farewells without closures are like unstitched surgical wounds. You might get over the pain eventually but the scar never lets go. The lesson is " we all have things to do, all the time but we should always make time for friends and family because these regrets haunt for life. Thank yous and sorrys are beautiful gifts that remain in the memory lane and should never be skipped. For some, good byes mean the beginning of a new era but for others its the end of the book." Sometimes life chooses harsh methods to teach you lessons but no matter what happens you smile, you move on, you learn from your mistakes and you make sure you NEVER let that happen to yourself again. See you on the flip side!
